At Virinco, innovation and collaboration are at the core of what we do. That’s why we’re beyond excited to announce our latest project with Åssiden (VGS) vocational school in our hometown, Drammen!
With the help of sensors provided by Virinco, students in Åssiden’s IT class will learn to create smart solutions for monitoring water temperature. They will gain hands-on experience in upgrading the sensors and developing comprehensive back-end and front-end solutions using the latest technology.
How Does It Work?
The students have received sensors from Virinco, which they will customize. Once fully operational, these sensors will be deployed at local beaches, monitoring the water temperature in real-time.
This project is about more than just technology—it’s about education and empowerment. The students learn not only how to develop and implement advanced tech solutions but also how to manage projects from start to finish—essential skills for anyone entering the tech world.

What’s in it for the Students?

Throughout the process, our engineers will be on hand to offer guidance, share best practices, and ensure the students have all the support they need to succeed.
