Where it makes sense, we build on commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware and proven technology platforms rather than developing every part from scratch. This reduces development time, cost and technical risk, and gets a working prototype or minimum viable product in front of you faster.

As the product moves toward industrialization and production, we optimize that same solution with custom electronics, embedded software and application-specific hardware — refining exactly where it earns its cost, once the concept and requirements are proven.

Working with what you already have

Embedded work doesn't always start with a clean sheet. Just as often, we enter partway through — upgrading a component, integrating new functionality, or redesigning parts of an existing architecture where it adds value, rather than replacing a proven system unnecessarily.

Because Virinco also works across product development, industrialization and production test systems, we consider manufacturability and testability during embedded development itself — so the system is easier to verify, produce and support as it moves toward volume.
